Strawberry Jello

A Thanksgiving tradition from a good friend

Ingredients

  • 1 4 serving package of Jello
  • 1 4 serving sugar free
  • 1 & 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1 cup cold water
  • 1 & 1/2 cup ice
  • 1 cup Cool Whip
  • 1/2 cup sliced strawberries (or more!)

Steps

  • Slice strawberries in bottom of dish (fill ‘er up)
  • Stir boiling water into gelatin until gelatin fully dissolved
  • Stir in cold water and ice cubes. Stir until ice melts completely
  • Pour 3/4 of the jello over the strawberries. Refrigerate 20 min or until set but not firm
  • Stir whip topping into remaining jello, whisk until smooth
  • Spoon whipped topping over jello. Refrigerate 1 hour or until completely set
