Cakey Butter Mochi

“Onolicious Hawaii Butter Mochi”

Ingredients

  • 1 lb mochiko flour - we used glutinous rice flour and it still worked out great!
  • 3 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 12 ounce can coconut milk

Steps

  • Preheat oven to 375 F
  • Mix everything in a large bowl
  • Mix with a wooden spoon until the batter is smooth
  • Pour into a lightly greased 9x13-inch pan
  • Bake until gold on top, for ~ 1 hr
